*** Born in Miami Florida, Trey Fatal grew up in the beginning of the Hip-Hop era. Listening to artist such as Tupac, N.W.A., WU-Tang clan, the 2-Live Crew, Poison Clan, U.G.K., Eightball & MJG, Public Enemy, Run D.M.C., Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, etc. Since birth rapping became as natural to Trey as speaking is for any two-year-old. Given the nickname "Trigga" by friends in school, he started his life off as unique as his name sounded. Rapping at the age of 11, then as everyday life elevates his skills and took him upon the street corners of Richmond Heights. Always impressed by this "little guy who could rap" people soon began to request a song everytime he was seen. Growing older, and getting into school aged years, Trey was known throughout high school as "Trigga." There was not a person that didn’t respect him, or would not easily find out who he was. It was always a dream of his to become a rapper, and there was always someone who loved to hear him rap, peers and others. Back then Trey took the love and kept the hope alive in the back of his mind. Seeing artist like tupac, biggie, and Wu-Tang Clan, Trey began to believe in his dream. Unfortunately even though he was motivated, terrible and unexpected events unfolded in his personal life. But the reality of being his on man at age 12 brought Trey into the streets of Dade County. Growing more into the street life landed him in trouble at school and sometimes behind bars. Not knowing how to deal with his emotions he let them out through songs that he strongly wrote. Although he did not have the roll model he made a way on the corners holding on to his dream through the struggles he wrote about in his notebooks. He felt that it was all he needed at the time, While doing this he became attached to the rapper he believed expressed the struggles of his life in the way that he would given the circumstances he was dealt. That rapper was TUPAC. Tupac in many ways changed his life. He taught him that life is rough but you have to "keep your head up". He listened to his music and developed an outlook on life. His music helped to bring Trey to lyrically expressing his thoughts. He realized that all the pain and suffering he had been through would be worth it if he could rap about it and help someone else in the same situation. He began writing again, but it seems that just as soon as the night shed light, he received news that his 1 hero his grandfather had passed. This was a major set back in he’s life. His main source of motivation had been taking away from him, so suddenly, so soon. Since that horrible day that his grandfather passed, Trey half hearted kept his foot in the door to the world of hip-hop as he began to focus on other avenues of his life. He took the new burst of motivation he transpired and hit the studio. He began writing only this time he didn’t need a pen. The songs he created meant so much, that reciting these words were like breathing in and out. A pen would only make him think too much about what he had been through. Trey vowed to himself that he would put 110% in every line he spoke. Currently, trey is using all the lessons he learned in the past to help him live out his dream in the future. As for the present, he hustles hard an harder to keeps his dream alive by putting all his effort into making sure whatever Trey does, is what’s best for his future and love ones. COME ON MAN
