Sometimes I feel like I grew up in the wrong era. the late 60's and 70's have always reigned supreme with me. I grew up listening to The Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, The Eagles and Van Morrison. But I did get my 80's fix in their- Hall and Oates, Duran Duran, Bruce Springsteen, INXS, Phil CollinsI guess that's why my music has that old-school songwriter feel to it with a little 80's cheese for good measure. Don't get me wrong. I'm a saxophonist at heart and am infatuated with a good groove. Folks like Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire and James Brown never cease to amaze me. I've played in bands since I can remember, and I do it cuz I I'm compelled to. Is been a hell of a journey so far. Let's see where '08 takes us.
