Trak 13 is a passionate modern hard rock band that blends the collaborations of lead vocalist Jeff Zazueta, guitarist Chris Zazueta, bassist Cory Tarallo, and drummer Jason Seccuro. They are constantly stretching to create their own unique musical style and stage performance. It will always be a personal experience. Something you can relate to.
From the get go, Trak 13 powered their way through gig after gig and won their way into the hearts of countless rock fans in southern California. As a result of their energetic and attention grabbing live performances, Trak 13 has built a remarkable and loyal following. Live shows are a priority for Trak 13 and they have played at some of Southern California's finest venues such as House of Blues, Key club, The Viper Room, The Roxy, Crossroads, Whiskey A Go Go, Blockbuster Pavilion, and Coconut Teasers. They have also played and sold out numerous local bars and clubs such as Goodfellas, Gotham's, In Kahoots, and the 2nd Ave. Alehouse. They have played with many of their predecessors such as Eve-6, Lit, Zebrahead, The Supersuckers, Death By Stereo, Berlin, The Kinks, Tesla, Skid Row, Poison, Warrant, LA Guns, RATT, Great White, Dokken, Slaughter, Cinderella, Quiet Riot and Lizzy Borden. The music of Trak 13 is inventive and yet very digestible. The sounds make you want to move around while the heart-felt, deeply introspective lyrics demand a moment to ponder. Trak 13 has been entertaining crowds and converting indifferentists for almost Six years.
With Jeff and Chris's dad being in the screen printing industry, Trak 13 has definitely gotten their merchandise out there. They have sold over 1000 shirts, hats, and wife beaters. It's not hard to do with such loyal and proud fans. They have sold over 1500 copies of their 12 song full length CD, Walking the Edge. Trak 13 has had radio play on X103.9, 96.7 KCAL, KOOL 94.3 and did an interview with 1510 am. They helped raise money for Chaffey College by appearing on the Chaffey College T.V. Telethon, and every year does a toy drive for Loma Linda Children's Hospital. They have also been featured and reviewed by several newspapers and magazines such as The Daily Bulletin and Skinny Magazine.
Trak 13 has been around since 1998 but was revamped in August of 2005. With a new drummer the band had a new state of mind and the juices began to flow. They moved forward in writing new songs to record their second full length album. It's a bit different from the first CD, but it is definitely a positive change and it rocks so hard! All of them have grown so much, musically, and the songwriting is incredible. They have undeniably taken it to the next level.
Trak 13 deals with every day issues that people from all walks of life can relate to. Altogether, Trak 13 combines heavy and harmonic guitar riffs, unbelievable bass lines that will boggle your mind, hard hitting drums with a sick, solid groove, and the amazingly heavy yet melodic vocals that have hooks that will never let you forget Trak 13.
In 2005, Trak 13 is moving forward with full force. Trak 13 plans to continue conquering with their new CD. They are constantly evolving and never stop trying to better themselves. The band is extremely positive for the future.
