GET THE ALBUM TODAY! Very positive messages in each song. "Sometimes" is my absolute favorite for a variety of reasons. "Gotta Reverse" is a club banger, and "Mystic" is just a work of art!(just to name a few) Intellectual thought, enlightenment on so many different levels, BANGIN' beats, and an all around well put together album. The featured artist "N'Namdi" is a master singer; very beautiful voice. Very talented brotha. Kemo, the producer, is a genius on the board, and "Krysis". well a master of lyrical rhyme. The album is FIYAH so go ahead and get your copy. Show some luv because it is well deserved!

What else can I say. This album is fire! Presented by L1 (lyrics first) Records, Krysis shows his listners that GOOD rap doesn't have to be plagued with bragging about guns, money, hoes, slangin' and rims. The first skit is a kid telling all rappers that he's sick and tired of all of the crap that they have been putting out lately, and he feels that he shouldn't have to grow up listening to thier filth. The skit seamlessly blends into the very first track titled "Ya'll Jokes (fet Kemo)." Krysis and Kemo basically rip fake rappers a new one, tearing them apart from the inside and out by calling out all rappers who pretend to be what their lyrics portray. The album begins to ease up with the third track "Outta Luck " where the choruses are lightly kissed with the voice of "Crystal" inspiring everyone to "Get your hands up." This track feels like the kind you drive around, or chill to. "We Ain't Got to be Like This" is a very bouncy track that effectively urges Black people to come together, show love, and stop killing each other. Kemo and Krysis get reflective on "Sometimes," a track with a smooth R&B feel to it. To close the album, a paino laced spoken word piece called "Well Spoken" leaves the listeners mind open, and reflective, followed by a skit done by the same kid from the previous skit advising us to call the number on the cd to get Krysis to come and perform in your town.
Overall, this cd is a definite keeper. I loved all of the tracks, especially "Well Spoken," "Yall Jokes," "Sometimes", "Jusspittin',""Do You".I might end up listing the whole thing, so I'd better stop here. In an industry full of rappers bragging about being thugs and hood trash, Krysis is one real brotha who speaks truth and knows the value of his self, and his people.
