Tonight It Ends

Tonight It Ends began in Fall 2005 with current members Adam Goodyke, Marc Goodyke and Murray Swoish. The band put out their first album in the summer of 2006 titled "Sail the Silent Seas" with Daniel Doehrman as the vocalist. From there many shows followed and a strong fan base was built. Soon after "Sail the Silent Seas" was released, Daniel Doehrman was unable to continue with the band. Vocalist Andrew George filled in for live shows until a permanent vocalist could be found. The search ended when the members of Tonight It Ends met Nathaniel Mohney.



In the Summer of 2007, Tonight It Ends recorded their second album titled ".And the Ghosts Were Gone" at Broadside Studio. With Nathaniel as vocalist, Tonight It Ends were able to push themselves musically into a heavier and darker direction than with the previous album. Many more shows followed the recording of the second album including opening for national acts such as Inhale Exhale, Blessed Is He and Outrun the Gun.



In the Winter of 2009, guitarist Marc Goodyke was unable to continue with the band due to family obligations. Pete Villa joined the band shortly after as guitarist. The next several months were spent writing music for a third album. Due to creative differences, Tonight It Ends and Pete parted ways. Tonight It Ends then went on a short hiatus from music to recharge and regroup.



In the Summer of 2009, Adam and Murray as well as original guitarist Marc Goodyke decided to come back together with intentions of writing a third album. Nathaniel was unable to continue with the band due to personnel priorities. The search was then on again for a new vocalist. In the mean time, Tonight It Ends continued to write new music and prepare for the third album.



In late Fall of 2009, Colin Vestrand (formerly of Jade Trees Weeping) joined the band as the new vocalist and second guitarist. The band continued working on new material for the third album until spring of 2010.



The third album titled "Myopic" was recorded at Studiotte in Grand Rapids, MI. "Myopic" is Tonight It Ends strongest and most mature recording to date. With the addition of Colin as vocalist, the band was really able to expand their music in a more genuine and honest direction. The goal of the band has always been to create music with a positive message. Their latest album is no exception. The band will be playing shows soon to promote the new album.
