Psychedelic stonerdoom-band Toner Low are from Holland and released their first cd in January 2006 through Dutch heavy rock-label Freebird Records. Summer 2005 the bandmembers had already released their debut on their own label Roadkill Rekordz, which got them many good reviews in Holland and on internet-magazines. The Italian e-zine Perkele.it dubbed the album "Rivelazione del 2005". Late 2006 the double-vinyl version of the cd got released.
Toner Low take their audience on a doomy stonertrip through heavy guitars, slow-riding drums, rough instrumental riffing, low-frequency bassparts, distorted vocals, hypnotizing themes, psychedelic sound-effects, alienating samples and minimalistic soundscapes. The psychedelic visuals the band use on stage during their live performances add to the mind-blowing mood they conjure with their music.
Since their first-album line-up got together in Summer 2002, Toner Low played many clubs in Holland, and toured in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom and Luxemburg. Festivals such as Roadburn 2006, Swamproom Happening 2007, Sauzipf Rocks 2007 were done.
In November 2007 bassplayer and vocalist Deef left Toner Low. The remaining bandmembers continued with bassplayer Miranda, who already played in the first Toner Low line-up in 1998-1999.
With this new line-up the second album 'II' was recorded in Summer/Fall 2008. July Toner Low played at the Stoned From The Underground 2008 Festival in Germany. The new album got released on cd and double vinyl in November 2008 by Freebird Records. This was followed by a 10-dates European tour in Germany, Austria and Croatia, and again many praising reviews in the stoner, doom and metal-internet community. In 2009 Toner Low did gigs in Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway promoting the new album. May 2010 gigs were done in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Italy, where the band supported Electric Wizard at the Stoned Hand Of Doom Festival in Rome.
