Tomer Tzur Is most wanted for drum-set and Mid Eastern percussion. From Rishon LeZion, Israel, Tomer moved to NYC to study composition and performances at the Mannes/New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program. The vibrant music scene in New York exposed Tomer to variety of styles, among them; Brazilian music, which he played with the percussion ensemble 'Beat the Donkey' lead by Cyro Baptista. Naturally Tomer adapted his native Mid Eastern percussion the darbukah and tof-miriam (Riq). Tomer toured/recorded with Pharaoh's Daughter, Amos Hoffman, Harel Shachal's Anistar, Shira Kline, Avishai Cohen(bass), Kehilat Haleb NY, with Hazanim David Shiro, Moshe Habusha.

He compose Music for animation and theatre. Tomer is a former member of the band The Sway Machinery, described as "Klezmer-tinged blues band.sounds like Muddy Waters"
