Look for Todd in a 2009 issue of DRUMHEAD MAGAZINE. Hopefully in the " Caught in the act" section. After The Machine's successful performance with the Detroit Symphony They have gone on to play with the San Diego Symphony,Pittsburgh Richmond & Delaware Symphonies. Presently talks of performance dates with The Boston Pops are under way. 2010 will usher in dates with Atlanta & Jacksonville Symphonies. Todd continues to play with Indy heartthrob Luke Rathborne and is looking forward to dates supporting Devendra Banheart.



Todd is playing drums on Little Annie's song " STRANGE LOVE." It's featured in this new LEVI'S JEANS commercial. Currently airing through out The U.S. & Europe. There is a youtube preview further down this page, it's fantastic !! Also, Todd's drumming will be heard on Nomi's CD, " Borough Gypsie" . After recording breaking attendance while headling a night at the RIVERBEND festival in Chatenooga,TN July 2007, The Machine was asked to headline " BETWEEN THE BRIDGEDS FESTIVAL on AUG 10 in Chattenooga. Meanwhile,Todd is continuing to tour nationally and Internationaly with The Machine In Dec 06, The Machine did it's 4th European tour throughout Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands.The Machine was asked to Headline the " ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL this JULY. In Aug 2006 THE MACHINE was featured in RELIX MAGAZINE Todd is currently on Rebuen Butchart's newest maxisingle called, " Come and Play."The recording has fellow Machine band mates Ryan Ball & Joe Pascarell.



2005 was acceptional for Todd. Highlights include a sold out Carnegie Hall show with Antony and The Johnssons, winning the MERCURY PRIZE for I am a Bird Now and continued touring around the world with The Machine & Antony and the Johnsons.

2005 saw the release of I am a Bird Now and received critical acclaim throughout the world. Currently I am a Bird Now went gold in the U.K. Todd has played on that album and every Antony and the Johnsons release. Todd has worked with Antony since his started playing with a band in 1997. "The Carnegie Hall show was such a thrill ! To play in a venue where the words greatest musicians have played was inspiring and humbling." Antony invited legendary jazz singer Jimmy Scott to the stage for 2 songs, and encored with long time supporter Lou Reed.

No stranger to commitment, Todd is the co-founder of THE MACHINE, the international touring PINK FLOYD show, now celebrating it's 20th year!! Todd started the band with longtime friend & guitarist Joe Pascarell in 1990. . During the summer months The Machine will playing sellout festivals to 3-5,000 people. The Machine has played the world renown Bonnaroo Festival in 2003.

In early 2005, Todd begain working with underground hip hop delight, NOMI. Her music is a delicate blend of urban hip-hip, soul & texture. It has been a great challenge for Todd to stretch into this genre. " It has been very rewarding to be involved in a new musical scene. Especially one that is so rythym intensive." Also in 2003, Todd joined keyboardist T. Lavitz of the Dixie Dregs & guitarist Jeff Pevar (David Crosby, Phil Lesh & Friends, CPR) in Jazz Is Dead, taking the seat once occupied by Billy Cobham & Rod Morgenstein. Todd has also shared the stage with the likes of Govt Mules Matt Abts, double drumming for a two week North American tour.You can always catch Todd with his wacky duo,"bardtodd." Consisting of acoustic guitar and vocals by bard, and a crazy small drum kit provided by Todd. The duo will bend your mind! A little known fact, Todd was also the first drummer that downtown delight Reuben Butchart played with. Todd Cohen is commitment personified. Anyone who knows him is well aware of this. He has been playing and studying drums for 24 years, been in all of his bands for over 10 years, endorsed the same products for over 10 years, and has stayed connected to relationships, both professional and personal for a lifetime.
