I started to sing in 1996 but this became more than a hobby only in 2003 when I joined an alternative rock band named Oranj. I still am the vocalist in this band.
In may 2004, dj. Suv (Full Cycle, Playside, Reprazent)and AnonimTm organized an MC contest. I won the contest and since then I became a member of AnonimTm and felt honoured to have performed with many djs, such as: dj Suv, Don E, dj Storm (Metalheadz) Kabuki(liquid V, precision breakbeat research) , Circuit Breaker (viperJive, dangerous drums, lot49), Paul Arnold (Fat!), Big Bud (Soundtrax, GoodLooking), Contour (Phunkfiction, Jerona Fruits, Blu Saphir), Klute (Commercial Suicide, Metalheadz, Soul:R), Alley Cat (Skunkrock, Reinforced, Life FM ) Nookie (Ministry Of Sound, Phuzion, Strictly Digital), Tanith (Dangerous Drums) Flight (Play:Musik, Metlaheadz) & Deeizm (Human Elements, Bingo), A-Sides (Eastside Rec), Merka (Fat!Records),dj Randall (mac2, Metalheadz), Shy Fx (Digital Soundboy), Kenny Ken (mix and blen) at different parties here in Romania.
I between my developping projects I collaborated (in live and/or recordings) with various artists from different genres like Implant Pentru Refuz, OSGC, Eddie Neumann, Cristina Padurariu, Blanoz, Skizzo Skills etc.
In 2004 I started what eventually proved to be a musical love story with BAU(Brigada Artistica Urbana), a band covering a wide range of beats (drum&bass, breakbeat, nu-jazz).
The last 5 years I have performed at many festivals and parties such as: Felsziget (Tg. Mures) AnonimTm's 48h party(Timisoara) TmBase (Timisoara) Summer Break (Deva), Transilvanian International Film Festival (TIFF, Cluj), De la Hoya (Cluj),Rock la Mures Festival-Periam Port, Graz School of Architecture Festival-Graz(Austria), Culture Clash Rak Club and City Club in Pecs (Hungary), Erfurt, Jena, Dresden, Berlin(EU Celebration in 2007) Stuttgart (Literaturhaus theatrical happening), and Spring 08 Festival in Graz etc.
In november 2005 I started a collaboration with the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu” in Timisoara. Together with dj Seba 1394, we made the soundtracks for the famous play “The Graduate” by Terry Johnson(1967 movie with Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bankroft). Seba 1394 played the music behind the decks while I walked between actors and even off the stage, through the chairs where the public was, singing. It was a big achievement, since this was a national premiere, in Romania nobody ever played drum&bass and breakbeat music live with a dj and a singer in a conventional national theatre.
My musical taste is a bit weird as I listen to many different genres from drum&bass and breakbeat to hardcore and alternative rock, nu jazz and big band jazz to oldschool hip-hop and trip-hop, r'n'b, soul and some others that I don't even know the name of.
Favourite artists.many of them, still I'l name a few: High Contrast, Nu:Tone, Circuit Breaker, London Elektricity, Guano Apes, Slipknot, Jazzanova, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Beastie Boys, Ol'Dirty Bastard, Massive Attack, Tricky, Fun Lovin'Criminals and so many others.I just think there'd be not enough room to write'em all down here. Anyway all of them have an influence on my singing.
About me being an mc.well, I just love improvising everything right there on the stage, I love it when I hear a song for the first time, cause it gives me great inspiration. I sing and rap. Don't know to tell u if I sound like someone u knowu know better :)
