FEATURING: Dave Strahan, Jerree Small, and Karen Kramer

NO COVER! All ages. Kid friendly.

House of Mercy Recordings has now released 28 recordings—from Charlie Parr to the House of Mercy
Band to Tim O'Reagan to the Urban Hillbilly Quartet...and many others—and we've decided to start a
regular showcase for our artists. The first Friday of each month we'll gather at Ginkgo Coffee in St. Paul
to hear some of the artists whose music we love and have released.

About March's artists:

Dave Strahan
- A versatile guitarist and banjo player as well as wordsmith. Dave plays with Romantica,
Farewell Milwaukee, the Urban Hillbilly Quartet and other groups...and tonight will be a chance
for him to showcase some of his own music.

Jerree Small
- "Infections melodies, a masterful and apparently effortless control of language and a voice
which beckons with its friendly, scratchy warmth. Jerree Small is a performer to watch and to
listen to." -- Ed McKeon, WHUH. Jerree has performed on stages all over the USA, including "A
Prairie Home Companion."

Karen Kramer
- An Americana/country singer, Karen found prominence on the local music scene in the duo
"Helen and Karen." After a few years of performing, they were enlisted to tour in Europe as part
of Tommy Cash's backing band. She has been away from the stage for awhile but tonight she'll
be back, performing the classic country tunes she is known for.
