CHRISTINA TORRES

I have been playing music all of my life. At the age of seven, I began performing in my father's band - The Mike Torres Band. I am currently the timbale player and female lead vocalist. I learned to play drum set, congas, bongo and timbales as a small child.



I consider myself lucky to be a part of a three generation family musical dynasty. I have recorded, toured and been on international television throughout my musical career. I have shared the stage with numerous artists from various genres which include: Pete Escovedo, Sonora Dinamita, Tierra, War, Malo, El Chicano, Teena Marie and El Debarge to name a few.



Music has played a part in all aspects of my life since as far back as I can remember. I know that as long as I can move and breathe, I will play!



I am proud to be an artist on the following rosters: TOCA Percussion, Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Evans Drumheads and Hansenfutz Pedals.
