Biography
Rising from the ashes of several other hardcore groups from Lyons, Wisconsin, Thrown Into Chaos isn’t your average hardcore/metal band. With a message every bit as powerful as their larger-than-life guitar and drum assault, this band has a musical and lyrical depth rarely present in a genre known mostly for inciting a mosh pit rather than inciting the minds of listeners; what makes Thrown Into Chaos so unique is their ability to do both.
Consisting of band members Nick Middleton (vocals), Jake Griffith (guitar), Jordan Campbell (guitar), Brian Story (bass), and Tim Bratz (drums), Thrown Into Chaos’s distinct take on “metalcore” fills the void in a scene dominated by homogenous themes and clichÈd metal licks; the guitars are uniquely arranged, the drums are earth-shattering, and the vocal shrieks will raise the hair on your neck. To say that Thrown Into Chaos are heavy is like saying Jimi Hendrix was a “good” guitarist.
With only a few years under their belt, Thrown Into Chaos has already accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments.
