Thomas Michael Jules realised he could sing at the age of 15 whilst in his final years of comprehensive school. He was spotted by his Aunt (a singer in the music industry) at a school concert performing an Eric clapton song "Old Love". She then introduced him to a production team who soon signed him up, created a demo disc and got him a contract with a major label Mercury Polygram. This was a short but great experience for Thomas. It taught him a lot about himself and about the beast that is the music industry. From then on Thomas new that this wasn't just a one off experience only to be enjoyed and forgotten, he understood this is what he wanted to do for life. Now at the age now of 19, Thomas with the help of his Uncle put together a boyband called 3rd Edge. The band consisted of two rappers and Thomas as the lead singer. 3rd Edge where signed to Parlophone EMI, Zomba Music Publishing and Q-zone productions. 3rd Edge released two singles both charting in the top 20, had major underground success with remixes and secured a massive UK fan base. With hopes of releasing a completed album soon after the release of the second single 3rd edge were released from their contract with both Parlophone and Q-zone. From this Thomas decided to pursue a solo career yet again, disbanded from 3rd Edge and kept his deal as an Artist with Zomba Music Publishing. The Deal with Zomba lasted roughly 5 years. In this time Thomas recorded a good few demo's as an artist working with number of producers but most of the songs seemed to suite other artists and not Thomas himself. One song of the demo's went to Simon Webb's album "Grace". Half way through Thomas's time with Zomba the structure of the deal changed from artist to writer. From this Thomas was instantly less pressured and could concentrate and enjoy writing good songs. In 2008 Thomas ended his deal with Zomba and looked towards finding another publisher. Between 2009 and the present day Thomas has released a single independently on itunes called "Get Close To Me", he has tutored at a secondary school as a Peripatetic (vocal coach), he has acquired himself publishing deal as a writer with Chrysalis Publishers and is now Professor Greens vocalist/ Hype man. Thomas's dreams for the future is to only grow as an artist, as a writer and as a musician. He is learning how to produce his own demo's at home. He is learning how to play the piano when possible and is actively writing with as many, established writers as possible. 2010 is a new beginning for Thomas. This has been marked by getting a cut on the Peter Andre record. Onwards and upwards.
