Mc Venom, DnB/Breakbeat

ThisBoy was first passed a microphone at the age of 13 after a close school friend refused him a go on his new decks and mixer. Mcing came naturally having been inspired by reggae music from a young age. This incident would be the Spark to pursue mcing at drum and bass raves and giving this then young artist an incite to his writing talents.

Having had numerous success in DnB and breakbeat, Mc Venom became a regular on the scene with performances alongside artists such as Roni size, Andy C, Ed Rush and Optical, and Ctrl Z too name but a few.

Nakawa, RnB/ Hiphop

ThatGirl began singing at the age of 12 with her sister & later formed a group with her friends while at secondary school.

Then whilst studying performing arts she knew that music is where her future lay.

She later started to perform in talent shows in and around London alongside some well-known underground artists such as Gemma Fox, Teisha O'Day, Choong Family, and Iceberg Slim.

In 2005 she was best-unsigned nominee at the UMA's (urban music awards).

Mc Venom & Nakawa were introduced by a mutual friend who saw great potential in the two individuals and suggested that it would be a good idea if they collaborated on some track's.

"We met up and heard each others material and knew straight away that this would be an interesting collaboration.

So when we started writing we always knew that we wanted to cross boundaries.

Our sound is all about infusing hard edgy beats with catchy hooky melodies laced with witty infectious lyrics. Our influences include artists from Tamla/Motown, Madonna, Supercat, Sizzla, Tupac, Shirley Bassey, Sly & The Family Stone, SWV, TLC, Mary J Blige too name a few… ThisBOYThatGIRL"

The 1st song they ever recorded together was 'CHEATING', this track is currently being played on BBC Radio 1 & Kiss100.

Also their infectious track 'LONDON' is currently being played on BBC Radio 1 Extra.

This hot duo are currently recording thier debut album while maintaining a busy events calendar with gigs and promotions throughout Europe and the USA.

Their hopes & aspirations for the future.
