Wolf, Whistle, Flute and Drum.avi - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 08, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
This is a video that my son, Mike, made as part of his A level coursework. It's filmed inside our roundhouse in Shropshire and in and around Avebury in Wiltshire, including the West Kennett Long Barrow. The tune is played on a flute that was made for me by David Cartwright of Second Voice Flutes (sometimes double-tracked) and on a ceramic copy of an eagle-bone whistle. The back-beat is provided by The World Drum. The tune is my own, consists of just four notes and was inspired by a 3-hole Bronze Age bone flute that was found near Avebury.
