I WHY NOT? nascono a Bologna nellinverno 2003. Nonostante la lontananza i quattro della formazione originale decisero di formare una band punk-rock ( lontananza che daltronde esiste ancora oggi ). Why not? o meglio The Why Not? è il nome che si è scelto. Un nome probabilmente né bello né trendy ma che sicuramente è adatto al caso. Ben presto è diventato una missione, una specie di filosofia, una secca risposta a chiunque dubita che si possano realizzare dei sogni o che non ne valga la pena per un po di musica. Le difficoltà ci hanno dato nuovi stimoli per mantenere in vita la band e guardare avanti senza arrenderci, per sopportare i periodi di magra e godere dei periodi di soddisfazione. Siamo sopravvissuti a quattro cambiamenti di formazione prima di giungere alla meritata stabilità, ma sorpresa! ci sentiamo alla grande!.

The WHY NOT? X-perience started in Bologna during winter 2003. In spite of the distance that separated the original four of us (and it still separates the current line-up, indeed!), we decided to put a punk-rock band together. Our firm conviction, let us choose the name, maybe not that nice or trendy, you see, but really fitting, we believe.

Why not?, I mean: THE WhyNot?, suddenly became our mission, a sort of philosophy, a rough answer/question to people who didnt and still dont believe our music is that worth the effort. Hard times gave us the stimuli to keep the band alive, to look forward and to never surrender, to stand the thick and to enjoy the thin: we survived 4 line-up changes before reaching the deserved stability and surprise!, we feel improved!
