Rich Latimer Short Bio: Rich founder of Very unique Existence & developer of the "Awareness Shows" programs was first discovered performing on Youtube & asked to be involved with one of the largest positive decision making educational programs in the USA, Every 15 Minutes, performing solo to over 4500 students on his first 2010 tour. He has since been asked to return each year! Rich has lived & experienced many of the issues in the show firsthand, & has assisted siblings through these issues as well. He works as a student support worker at Evans River High School where he has designed his own positive behaviour programs. Rich has worked at TAFE, UNI, & High School. He holds both an Education & Multimedia Degree along with a range of other certificates in instructional design. His passion is unfaltering & felt at each show!
Rich Latimer is also the front man from successful positive consciousness rock and Very Unique Existence. Early this year he made a decision to step out on his own, to try out new solo material for Awareness Shows & other performances, as well as continuing with VUE. Touring the USA & playing with the likes of Jason Maraz Rich honed his simple but powerful solo show & is now in high demand for these inspired performances.

Very Unique Existence is a "Positive Consciousness Rock" band from Byron Bay Australia devoted to writing music that is, as meaningful, as it is, entertaining. "Music changes people, people change the world" is the bands motto. Very Unique Existence was Formed by Rich Latimer in 2004 in the beautiful Byron Bay. Starting out as Rich Latimer (Guitar/VOX) Chris Boniface (Drums) and Mick Harris (Bass/vox) making a raw-rock ep "Open" at www.topcatstudios.com as the result of winning Jim Beam band competition. This helped them establish gigs up and down the eastcoast and develop the band.
Moving forward to 2007 Wes Seewald (Keys/vox) was added to the line-up, post the recording of their EP/DVD "Everyone". This EP/DVD helped establish the band some, regional radio airplay, Video Hits Top 20, and supports with, Wolfmother, Rouge Traders, Kate Miller-Heideke, Butterfly Effect, Mental as Anything amongst many others.
2009 a lineup change occurred seeing Ads Gardiner (Drums) take up the sticks from sorely missed Chris, and Jesse Stanley replace Mick Harris on Bass, with Wes Seewald (Keys) then leaving the fold early 2010.
2010 has also seen the band sign with boutique booking agent "Pushworth Group" (Savage Garden, Grinspoon, Butterfly Effect, Dianna Anaid) and will also see the band finish mixing their debut LP "Hear the Heart" consisting of 12 to 14 tracks the first single from which will be "Hearts Embrace" (Taylor's Song). Mobile phone demos from the album were sent to Rolling Stone and created such a buzz that editor Dan Lander interviewed lead singer Rich Latimer late 2009 to ask about its eclectic nature and concept. So after much change and 6 years bashing it out from Melbourne to Brisbane, Rich Latimer the founding & last remaining member has reevaluated things and taken a new fresh direction with interesting and eclectic tracks, more musically aligned with the bands message and image of "Positive Consciousness Rock" and linked this to the launch of a world first in the use of music as a powerful tool for education within the areas of social and emotional wellbeing, being the bands patented "Awareness Shows Tours TM"
"Awareness Shows Tours" have kicked off in Australia and the USA, with a huge success seeing the band & front man Rich Latimer (solo) now touring extensively to High Schools in both countries, with thousands of students walking away from the concerts having been positive impacted, the first show saw a young person reach out who was on the brink of suicide to seek help and get support.
Radio and media support is the next step for the band in launching their new album and "Awareness Shows" using the new single "Hearts Embrace" (Taylor's Song) as the flagship, which was written for Rich's Little brother whilst he was on life support after a drink drive crash, (which makes up a proportion of their Awareness Shows content).
