whew the first 2008 release WAS birthed. recordbreakin presents vicelounge . this jawn is self-titled and has some pretty dope music on it. drums thick and booming; vocals getting their love over nice melodies; and, lyrics that make sense but do not need a ph'd to be understood.
and through the kindness of mobile underground and ourworldmusic THANKS for your support and love!
but now it is time to preview the fall and winter collections. music that come from a more electrified and hybrid core. we hope still funky and soulful, but still a lil harder in some cases. (see first three songs in player.)
changing? naw. just an extension of who we are, artists always looking at the next adventure. and, as a group we have wanted to get deeper into our synths. we have wanted to pull out the wave bundle and touch up some samples.

we produce music that befits our lifestyle rather than a style: we "iz" educated n----as from the hood; who love soul music; rock guitars; banging drums; sweet melodies; fine clothes (will smith converses, armani, sean john purple label; italian ties; camo pants; t-shirts; calvin klein, umbro and girnaud); timbs; house joints at 3am with a chimay or vodka in hand; cubans while king tubby vibing.
