The Violent Years dwell in deepest southern Norway amidst the sea, woods
and bible belt. Their songs are made of an anxious bitter sweet unrequited Love inspired by a contrasting backdrop of natural beauty and the highest rate of depression in the country.
Their sounds lean towards American Folk and British Pop
