The Twits are a 5 piece band from Melbourne with two singers who were hatched in mid 1999 out of the ruins of a shite band.

They recorded a 13 song demo to get gigs one night and decided to release it a month later. It was called Albert Road and sold well into double figures. No not true really the pressing of 500 have all sold or gone or got lost or something. In mid 2000 Notorious Melb Punk/cartoonist/dickwit, Fred Negro started making guest appearances with The Twits and joined full time early 2001. All 5 members will give you a different story why this happened and all are probably talking crap.

The Twits released a second cd ' The Twits Play Music' in 2002. This one they took a bit more time and effort (three days). It featured guest spots by Dave Moll (Shonkytonk, F*ck F*cks) and Smeer (Depression, Speed Demons, Autovegas). It was released through Pure Pop Records and sold well. There's still some left though Want one? Go on it's quite good this one

I'm completely sick of typing. Why can't the others do it? The Twits have released a third album in 2005 called 'She may look clean BUT - You can't beat the Axis if you get VD'. Pure Pop didn't learn their lesson last time and released this one also in partership with Inertia. This also has a guest spot by Smeer and others by Ric from No Idea, Stacy from Crackwhore, The Moll Patrol, The Rag Week Choir, and Kat Spazzy among others

The Twits have gigged extensively throughout Melbourne and have toured expensively throughout Australia.

The Twits don't like to drop names but Three Big Day Out's hows that?! and gigs with Cosmic Psychos,Dayglo Abortions, Dallas Crane, Spencer Jones, Sixfthick,The Spazzys, Mach Pelican, Powder Monkeys, F*ck F*cks, Poppin Mommas, Ken Russell, No Idea, Speed Demons, Charter 77, Sailors, Meanies, Peanutbuttermen, Yidcore, Sin City, Almaboobies, Crackwhore, Bastard Squad, bla bla bla I'm completely sick of this

All drinking and other habits are currently under control and we haven't been banned from anywhere for over two years.

The Twits are currently managed by Tim Rogers (That bloke from YOU ARE US or whatever they're called. Oh and The Temperance Union).
