After three and one half years, and many, many shows as a band with the horrendous name of Johnny Cage, we have decided that it is finally time to change our name. When we started this band and called ourselves Johnny Cage none of us thought that we would stay together as long, or take it as seriously as we have. We have all hated the name for as long as we can remember, and changing it is somthing we have wanted to do for a long time now. For one reason or another we never got around to it, but with the pending release of our new e.p. "Dead Behind the Eyes", we came to the realization that it was now or never. Basically what it came down to is that we didnt want to look back on this band for the rest of our lives while it had a name that we all so thoroughly disliked. So all that being said, we have officially changed the name of this band. Johnny Cage is no longer, and we hope that everyone forgets the name as fast as we plan to block it out of our minds. From now on we are going to call ourselves The Sunset Limited. If you dont like it, look on the bright side; all of the merchandise you have that says Johnny Cage will be Ebay gold within the next few years. Sleep well, my babies.
