The Suicide Machines - DDT - NYC, Live, Apple Stomp Festival, 5-31-13, Irving Plaza. Jay Navarro: "IPA! IPA! This is a ska festival, you've gotta drink, sorry." Jay was also still a little bitter about the Detroit Red Wings losing to the Blackhawks in the playoffs.. :P


Other Tidbits:

This was the inaugural year of the Apple Stomp Festival, a 2-day ska show hosted by Asbestos Records on May 31st and June 1st. It was also the first heat wave of the summer and by Saturday, it was well into the 90s.

BTW Jay, we were trying to drink, but beers were going for $9! That said, that's about average for New York City.. :P
