Formed in the basement of a north london squat,

The Stone Circles came about due to the lack of decent NEW rock n roll band getting played on MTV.

The boys took it upon themselves to make rock n roll exciting again. In their word's

"Not reinventing the wheel just giving it a little spit shine"

The idea of forming the band came to Robb the bands front man after watching  storming headlining set's by Kasabian and The Stooges at the 2007 Glastonbury. After a psychedelic evaning at the Glastonbury Stone Circle, the seed was planted.

He proceeded to pen song's on his return to london and as fate would have it was introduced to Mike the bands lead guitarist

and co- vocalist.

Before to soon Mike moved into the squat with Robb and they went about bringing these songs to life.

Over the next few weeks Robb met the hard hitting drummer Anthony in a Camden pubwhile mike met guitarist and producer Tristan out on the town.

All the elements were in place. and in late 2007 The Stone Circles were born

After about 4 week's and 5 rehearsals the boys went about cutting thier first demo

Over the next few month's the band started to receive international recognition, being picked up by several collage, internet and commercial radio station's in North America, South America, Europe and Australia.

With a growing fan base the boys went about cutting another 5 songs in the later half of 2008, and freshening up the original tunes

bringing you this debut demo

Enjoy.

"The Stone Circles burst onto the scene with more swagger

than most band's that have been around for year's.

They manage to recall the best of the Brit-pop scene

while creating something new. With their driving beat's,

infectious tune's and beautifully dirty guitar work

The Stone Circles show a great deal of promise.

Long live The Stone Circles"

"The Stone Circles are one of the few bands out there at the moment that remind me of a time when rock was fun. Reminiscent of the velvet underground and The Stooges, even if they have something important to say, the band doesn't seem too take themselves to seriously - they let words and the music do the talking.

I cant wait for the canadian audiences get the chance to get behind  The Stone Circles sound as i bet the live experience would be a real treat"

"This band is a rock, rock, rocking.

Take some coolness, add a whole lot of rocking guitar's, mix it all up

with some catch melodys and you have fabulous Stone Circles.

They in my opinion are the quintessential rock and roll band"
