Hailing from Buffalo, N.Y., The Stay Lows embrace the concept of images through sound, and the existence of a midpoint between pretentious and geek. The Stay Lows blend elements of math-rock with symphonic song structures, all encased in a seemingly simple display of pop. The result is often compared to a score for a film yet to be made.
