The Sound

Giving a new meaning to the definition of the mile high club, The Sound was conceived on a jet airliner blasting through a cloudburst on a Sunday afternoon. Destination: the colorful music fields of American rock & roll via the British Maine Road.



The chosen avenues lead directly to Dallas, Texas where four individuals united with common interests and one goal on the agenda: to create music that’s spherical and circular in substance. It’s something The Sound believes has been missing in today’s music and is the driving force behind the foursome.



Piloted by front man Todd Clarke with Les Paul in hand and white Flying V in the wings, The Sound are poised to give rock & roll some love, with a touch of noise and confusion. Union Jack style with an American heart. The unified vision for The Sound is a clear one indeed. It is seen not unlike a pair of rainbow/hologram tinted Lennon specs for members Nick Cruz, Joseph Christianson, Jeff Thomas and their nightly companions of Gibson, Marshall, Cigarettes and Alcohol.



Executing a high-energy killer set akin to a “Kalifornia Casualty”, The Sound individually will not ponder afterwards if are they “Thinking of Me” when the foursome has exited their performance podium.
