We are all veterans. We know the price of freedom. We are all bowling-league champs. We know the weight of the world. We are illegitimate sons of the wind, raised by rainbows that led to concealed pots of seven-bean stew but never no gold. We believe in the value of high ceilings and non-flammable pajama pants for the less fortunate. We have serious reservations about motor boats, as an unconscious reaction to the death of Jazz. We consider cigarettes to be good propaganda for our new world religion, which calls for eternal vigilence but never no freedom. We support the cautious approach of Zoa'thellik, the last of the Great Martian Octopusses. Consider the lilies of the field if you must, but never lose sight of The Money Pit, with special guest appearances by four of the original seven archangels.
