The lights are bright, the heavenly tunes can be heard in the distance, and amongst the flashing lights and the suave, you stroll along the red carpet leading you to what can only be described as a musical palace. Up high on a musical throne, play the sounds of Sydney’s most beloved house music loving DJs’. Etched at the top of the house music hierarchy, lies the names of the kings of house, progressive, minimal and big room tunes, The Royal Crew. This is their palace, their domain and you are cardinally invited to shake your royal hineys.

It is hard to believe the rapid rise of dominance The Royal Crew has attained in the Australian dance music scene within such a short period of time. With a glass of royal wine in hand (modernly known as Vodka & Red Bull), Chris Danger & Bruno Pedreira tell us the story of how they formed in 2006. “I was spinning Hip Hop at the time and Chris was dropping house music. After a quick chat at a local party, and a few too many glasses of water”, he smirks, “We decided to form The Royal Crew!”, Bruno states. “We have never looked back”, Chris tell us.

With a support base so large it would give the Queen Elizabeth a run for her money, The Royal Crew have certainly not looked back and continue to dominate the Sydney and Australian nightclub scene. With an international and local support list including Thomas Gold, Eddie Thoneick, Rank1, Terri B, Klass, Dabruck & Klein, Steve Edwards, Body Rox, Fragma, Micha Moor, Malente, STFU, Steve Porter, Cut Copy DJs, Hook N Sling, Aston Shuffle, Sneaky Sound System, Stafford Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, Tommy Trash, The Potbelleez, Sam La More, Mobin Master and The Bang Gang Djs, as well as stellar performances at venues and events such as, Tank (One Love), Nevermind, Trademark (Electric Love), Greenwood Hotel (Sounds on Sunday, OzFest) , Favela (Girls Best Friend) , Tunnel / Dragonfly (Boy Meetz Girl, Taboo, Dirty Funkin Beats), The Roxy, YU, Illawarra Hotel and Fannys Newcastle, you know the dynamic duo mean business in 2010 and beyond.

"We love what we do and love seeing the power that music gives to everyone on the dance-floor. The bigger the better!", Bruno explains. It’s ironic, because like royalty, they strive to dominate. Maybe not the British empire as such, but more so the ruling of the international dance music scene. They continue to reign supreme at the top of the house music hierarchy nationally and with their debut E.P. to be released in 2010, as well as their conviction to being the best you can expect internationally dominance in the very near future. So don’t be surprised if you hear a bit of a change to the famous Humpty riddle. ‘All the kings horses and all The Royal Crew men, couldn’t stop the crowd from dancing to them!”
