The Pug Mahones

Forged in South Buffalo steel, and trained in the arts of whiskey and lager, The Pug Mahones are an all-original rock band from Western New York. The Pug Mahones play a new breed of rock, the band plays punk and rock tunes with a harsh attitude provided by the unique singing style of frontman Mike Jordan and a distinct flavor provided by fiddle/mandolin player Kristin Prohaska. Newest Member Dennis Gold absolutely shreds on his guitar. The backbone for the songs are built by two amazing local talents -- Kelly Jordan, who positively hammers on drums and never skips a beat, Chris Gugliuzza, who writes a better bass line than you'll hear anywhere else this side of the Mason Dixon. The Pugs can be found playing at most of Buffalo's watering holes, but you'd better bring some whiskey money -- they don't play just for the pride and adoration, after all.
