The Pickup

The Pickup from Denmark and Sweden was formed in Copenhagen in 2003. The style is hard and heavy rock’n’roll. Simpel and catchy. The sources of inspirations are many, but mainly themselves.In 2004 The Pickup recorded their first demo, Thanx for Nothing, and in 2005 the second demo, Le Cobra, was made. The latest demo from 2006, No Doubts Tonight, was recorded with Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere) as producer.During 2005 and 2006 The Pickup has supported danish Volbeat on a part of their DK-tour, and has furthermore supported Backyard Babies and Paul Di’Anno (former Iron Maiden).In 2006 The Pickup was nomiated at the Danish Metal Awards in the category: Talent of the Year.

Great news!!! The Pickup song "Aliens" have been chosen to be a part of the latest edition of Riot On Sunset by the LA record label 272 Records. Hell yeah!!!

The Pickup are at the moment busy recording new material.
