The Pedro Delgados

The Pedro Delgados are bringing you rocking red white and bluetrash from - believe it or not - the heart of Amsterdam. Pedro Calvito, Pedro Rocko and Pedro Alejandro started out jamming on a monday, that was february 13th 2006, played for 40 people in de Nieuwe Anita in Amsterdam and 3 days later folks, they supported Voicst and zZz at the Vera club Groningen on thursday february 16th. They can now probably call themselves the fastest booming band in history.



Not only booming in popularity but also booming in band members! After a well deserved sabbatical of half a year, the Pedro's recorded their first live session called "Silveredsteel Nickelwound" at the Cuyp Studio's in september '06. Since then the band has more than doubled in size. Adding two bass players (you never know), Pedro el Rey and Pedro Conejo, a real saz player, Pedro Doner, an accordionist, Pedro Arnoldo, playing nearly everything from mouth harp to spoons, Pedro Hueso and recently playing anything with strings, Pedro Barba!
With these new Perico's the Pedro Delgados recorded their second EP 'Tremendous Rambling' (february 2007) which has been sold out ever since. and their first album Do it like that (Munich Records, 2008)

De zes Pedro’s uit Amsterdam, die sinds 2006 een bandje vormen, houden er een halsbrekend tempo op na. Alles wat ze aanraken is akoestisch: ze spelen banjo, gitaar, mandoline, wasbord, accordeon en staande bas. Om een idee te geven: de Hackensaw Boys zullen iets van zichzelf in hen herkennen. Goeie keus ook voor – akoestische – feesten en partijen.
