The Oversleep Excuse

Hi, we are the Oversleep Excuse. We are based in Tokyo, Japan. Gizmo and Matsun are both Japanese. Matt is from the USA. Adam is from London. We all have full time jobs during the week and on the weekend we get together in the studio, crack open a couple of beers, swap instruments, jam and write songs. We have been playing together about 5 years now maybe? We like to play shows with our friends bands here in Tokyo. We have played with may good bands including Gargle, SF, Yomoya, Soft Wrestlers, The Warm, Caucus, Emperor Tomato Ketchup, Kate Sikora, and many others. We released a 5 song EP by ourselves last year. Please check the links below. This year we are focusing on recording by ourselves and releasing a full length album. watch this space.
