Sixx Carter

The artist formerly known as Sixx Carter is getting back to basics in all ways…starting with making life simple and using her middle name, "Leah." Musically Leah has grown and evolved to be not only a respectable keyboard and guitar player, but a super solid songwriter to boot; all evidenced by her new EP, "Girl Next Door."
Older than a teenager, but younger than a mom of two, Leah's exciting and sometimes turbulent life experiences are the back drop for "Girl Next Door," whose edgy, hooky, thought provoking subject matter is sure to grab her target audience who no doubt share similar experiences with Leah. The sound, a combination of rock guitars and R&B melodies is refreshing and unlike others associated with the Pop/Rock genre. The music is organic with live instrumentation following traditional chord progressions with elements of modern sounds and guaranteed to be ear candy for those bored with the conventional.
