Singer/songwriter Theo Mayers was born on October 12th 1975 In Paris.

He grew up singing at home. Even though under his parents heavy classical music influence, he didn't like his piano studies and vocal opera lessons and decided to give them up at the age of nine. But one day, nature catches up!

His parents got him a piano and he just started playing. After a brief stint studying music, Theo who had been writing his own songs, decided to make a go of it as a singer/songwriter in Israel where he moved alone at the age of 15 to learn more about his roots, people and religion. After a few years of Judaic studies in a yeshiva, he went to the army and started his musical career.



At the age of 25, he wrote, composed and produced his first ten song album in Hebrew: Prahim (Flowers) which slowly built momentum and earned the young singer a few small but fervent following live performances.



He then owned a recording studio where he learned song arrangements, sound engineering, recordings and coaching, leaving his personal career aside.



Two years later, Theo was 28 when he decided to travel around Europe, basking the streets. He arrived back to Israel a year later, with a clear head, loaded with ideas; he approached his music with a new found freshness and decided to put some songs down, in English this time.

He bought his own mobile studio and decided to do it all alone.



All this time he had refused plays and contracts in France and in Israel, leaving success for other expectations



Now comes the big step, He will arrive in LA where he lived 4 years as a teenager, for higher ground discoveries and to propose his work and talent to great labels and record companies.



Theo's effortlessly intimate, emotive and intense voice carries a level of emotional depth that's remarkable for one so compact, like his friends like to say.

Conveying the elation of love and the pain of heartbreak with equal assurance, he writes his personal experiences with irony, sarcasm, humor and passion, to share his feelings with you. Enjoy.
