Hello Myspacer's, Reggie Abrams here, the son of Sandra K. Wilson, "Jackie Wilson's" Daughter. First of all I'd like to give special thanks to, my dear uncle"Thor Wilson", and my Grandfather's close friends "Johnnie Gee", "The Chilites", "Tyrone Davis", Brunswick Records, Sidetraxx Records, and all of the fans and friends who loved my Grandfather's Classic Music.
The Jackie Wilson New Movie is coming soon, featuring some of the classic Artist my Grandpa recorded and toured with from 1970-75 until he got sick. Our Estate is planning a trip as we speak to Milwaukee, WI, to meet the legend himself, and to catch up on some of the real history behind my Grandfather's career with Brunswick Records.

In the 1950"s and early 60's Mr. Wilson would often play in Myrtle Beach. After making a good paycheck on the other side of the tracks" Mr. Wilson and other artists such as Marvin Gaye, and Little Richard to name a few would stay and often give impromptu performances in our community at club/motels such as Charlie's Place, The Patio Casino, and others. Pictured with me is 90 year old Mrs. Sara Rucker whose husband owned Charlie' Place. (From the Wilson family "We Love You Sara").

Eldee Young 1936 - 2007 Passes
Dear Friends,
I regret to inform you that our good friend and Soulful Jazz pioneer,
Eldee Young, passed away today (February 13, 2007) from cardiac arrest.
According to Eldee's manager, Eldee had been touring Asia and was
currently performing in Bangkok Thailand, when his piano player Jeremy
Monteiro, discovered him dead in his hotel room shortly before he was to
perform. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Eldee's wife Barbara and his children Eldevon, Tyree and Marcus.

Nat Tarnopol, August Sims, Connie Bailey,Jackie Wilson, Tyrone Davis, Barbra Acklin and so many more welcomed the Midwest hottest band "Step By Step", featuring Lil Johnnie Gee.

As a lead vocalist, and front man, remember this was the day's of "The Osmonds", "The Jackson 5", The Ponderosa Twins just name a few, these groups were in a race for that spotlight with major record label. Johnnie Geehas survived the Music Industry, and is still at a young age of just 47. He still publishes music today, with that classic Brunswick sound, and I must add some of his riffs sounds exactly like Grandpa. (Hum) I wonder where he got that from.
