The unofficial bio-- The New Left is Kyle Cook, John Kibler, Brett Borges, and Eamon Ryland. The band began in the midwest in 1992 as Cook, Borges, and Kibler attended the same high school. The band played house parties, and a high school prom or two. (yes, really)
In 1995 Kyle moved to Atlanta where joined Matchbox Twenty at the age of nineteen. While Kyle was on the road with that other band Brett and John went to college to study music.
Throughout the millenium, said dudes would get together to buzz about, play a few shows, record, and write wierd shit during their time off from touring and or college. Brettford T. met Eamon Ryland at a jam session in Southern California and eventually asked him to join the band. So with the addition of the very adaptable stylings of Ryland, and of coure some Murray's pomade, the quartet soon became The New Left.
Since the completion of the lineup, The New Left has performed all over these United States of Steroid Chicken Warriors and is planning to hump all over the globe like a randy mutt bumpin' on a silky pant leg. TNL (as they're referred to in the "industry") released their debut EP, "Let Go," in October of 2004. Strangely, "Let Go" is a smash hit in Guam, but flying under the radar everywhere else. Not to be detered, The New Left is preparing to complete an album sometime in the near future.
