Die ohohohs sind ein Zwei-Mann Live Elektro Orchester, die den direkten technoiden sound einer neuen Club Klutur heraufbeschwören – direkt, melodisch und von einer massiven Durchlagskraft.
Das Duo formiert sich aus Pianist „Amalia Manicomia“ und Drummer „Lucy Lafayette“ und entstand aus einem Wunsch dieser professionellen Musiker, ein analog-elektronisches Projekt auf die Beine zu stellen, bei dem vor allem die freie Improvisation und neue Klangmuster erprobt werden sollten.
Angelegt als Techno Duo, das vor allem live auf Parties und in angesagten Clubs Frankfurts spielen sollte, erlangten die ohohohs dabei – zu überraschung der beiden Musiker – schnell Kultstatus im Rhein-Main Gebiet.
Es folgten Auftritte in Berlin, Hamburg und der Schweiz, eine CD Produktion und Anfragen aus Institutionen wie dem Mousonturm und Schauspiel Frankfurt.
Momentan produziert das Duo das erste Album und bereitet sich auf den ersten Hallenauftritt 2011 in der Hugenottenhalle Neu Isenburg vor.
Was auch immer man über die ohohohs schreiben mag – es wird ihnen nicht gerecht; und wer noch nicht dabei war, wenn diese Energiebündel 500 Menschen zum Extasetanz verleiten, sollte dies schleunigst nachholen.

The ohohohs are a two-man live electro orchestra, summoning a new, technoid sound upon a growing number of clubbers, who go out to go deep and dive into hard, clear and melodic electronic music.
Founded by both professional piano player „Amalia Manicomia“ and „Nachttierhaus“ drummer „Lucy Lafayette“ the aim was to create an analog-electronic project putting improvisation and new soundstructures first.
Thus the duo performed throughout the vast clubbing-scene in Frankfurt am Main and soon gained cult status not only with electro fans, but with all clubbers willing to dance through the night.
After gigs in Berlin, Hamburg and Swizzerland and first booking offers by the famous Mousonturm and state theatre in Frankfurt the band now fucuses on their first album and their first stadion concert 2011 in the Hugenottenhalle Neu Isenburg.
