Your final chance to see The Massacres at work!

In 2003 The Massacres were off to a rocky start; going through many members until they able to secure a line-up in the summer of 2004. By September 2004 the boys had their first official show at the Fire Side Bowl, and quickly the word about Chicago's Psychobilly boy wonders spread.

In a few short months the Massacres had already begun to climb the ladder; already doing midwest stints with Psychobilly legends Demented Are Go!, Calavera, and with Canadian band The Dead Cats. Constantly on the move, The Massacres had the honor of sharing stage with Batmobile from Holland (a mainstay in the Psychobilly scene since the Klubfoot days of the 1980's), and Zombie Ghost Train (Australia) in 2005 at the Hollywood Showdown.

The release of The Massacres first studio album "Season of the Scarecrow" on Flying Saucer Records resulted in a West Coast tour in 2006. This tour was a great experience and let the Massacres share the stage with great bands like the Rezurex, the Strikers and many more.

In 2007 The Massacres did a 2 day stint with Mad Sin, hitting up Chicago and then New Jersey at Asbury Lanes, as well as a few shows with Micheal Graves of Misfits fame.

In 2008 The Massacres released what would be their final studio EP, "Redemption". 2008 also marked The Massacres first show at the Metro playing with the Horrorpops, The Cute Lepers, and The Pink Spiders, killing their set with a great response from a mixed crowd of punks, rockers, rockabillies and psychobillies.

The last time you may have caught the Massacres was in March of 2009, headlining the first annual Psychobilly Spring Fling with Al & the Blackcats, and The Arkhams.

In short, that brings us to 2010, and August 7th will be your last chance to catch The Massacres. Not once, but twice in one evening! Coming a bit full circle in some ways, The Massacres have been there done that, and are grateful for all of the opportunities they have been given, and thankful for all the friends they have made along the way.

As always.FUCK YOU! We're from Chicago!-

Satan (impatiently) to Newcomer: The trouble with you Chicago people is, that you think you are the best people down here; whereas you are merely the most numerous.
