The Maple Thieves were formed just under a year ago, made up of four friends Gregor, Wull, Del and Wullie. Having all played in various bands, three of which had previously been in popular local band cosmos, they decided they needed a fresh start which meant new tunes, a new name and a new member in the form of Wullie on bass. In there previous band they enjoyed success supporting big names like the 22-20s, the Bandits ,Ex Oasis guitarist Bonehead and many others. The Maple Thieves continue this having already supported Arctic Monkeys mates, Sheffield outfit the Harrisons and hope to gain more high profile support slots in the future.



There blend of music is too hard to pigeon hole drawing many different influences to each song. Inspired by so many different styles of music from 50s rock and roll, Blues, to soul and many other Rock and roll greats they have developed there own unique style. With two headling shows at the ABC2 and many other venues across Glasgow, The Maple Thieves want as many people to hear there music as possible.
