BIOGRAPHY
Jay-E aka The Lyrical Prophet aka Soul Speaker aka Soul Archer aka Soul Swordsman. Real name, Ernad Jaskic. Born in Prijedor, Bosnia 1988. I came to live in the Netherlands in the year 1992 cause of the war that was goin' on in the Balkan. I started listening to HipHop in the year 2001 when I heard about The Chronic 2001 from Dr. Dre and started spittin' myself in the year 2004 together with a couple of homies, M-Bino & XDC. We formed the group ''Thug Soldiers''. After a few months of recording songs, XDC decided to quit. M and me went on together as the ''G-Crew''. We reseaved a new member called ''Gold Buller''. 10 months of recording many songs, Gold Bullet also desided to quit, cause he went to another school. After that, M and me created a new group called ''Belistick''. Later on we got more members, sow we decided to create an organization called ''RGS (Renegade Style)''. That went on for a year and at the end it didn't work out. New members came and old members left. RGS fell and a new project was created called: ''LCU (Lyrical Unity)''. Together with UnitriX, one of the new members of LCU, I created it. It went on good for a year but as the previous crews, LCU also fell, cause everyone was doing to much of his own thing. Now I spit solo, but still love to work together with a lot of people. I rap English and also Dutch. My style is revolutionary. You can describe me as Immortal Technique, Hasan Salaam and Akir in one person. I'm not comparing myself to them, but they are the 3 sorces of my inspiration and lyrics. The most love goes out to my bradda: MC MOsiris. He taught me the value of revolution and of educating yourself with knowledge that is kept secret to the most of us .Because of him I changed my style of HipHop. Telling the truth and bringing education to people is a serious and fun thing to do for me, cause I love HipHop and use it as a tool to provide the people with unknown knowledge. Update: I formed a group with Shah-King called: ‘’Solar Messiahs’’. A revolutionary/soul-based group that spits about education, knowledge, emotion and religion. We excist out of 5 people.
