The Luxury

The Luxury are "purveyors of anthemic rock with big stadium-sized hooks and an eye toward UK indie style" (Weekly Dig), formed in 2005 and offering 2 critically acclaimed records (as of July 2009).



The band hit the CMJ top 200 with their first record, "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things", were selected by Coldplay to open their August '08 performance at Boston Garden, and in April '09 were crowned winners of the 31st annual Rock and Roll Rumble, a long and storied tradition in the Boston music scene whose past winners include 'Til Tuesday, The Sheila Divine, The Dresden Dolls, Township, and Campaign For Real Time. The band's smashing followup, "In The Wake Of What Won't Change", arrived in July '09 and hits college radio this September.
