The time has come to update my info as I have decided to no longer talk about myself in the 3rd person. Most of us know that us house music guys write our own bio's. So here is the basic skinny on me and my work (and yet I still ramble on).
Personal info:
My name is Chris and I'm more than 30 and less than 40. I'd give you my age but than I'd just have to update this paragraph every year. You would not know by looking at me, but I am nearly half chinese in my ancestry. The other half is cracker white. I am a married with kids guy. I am native to California but have lived in 6 different cities within the state. San Francisco has been my adopted home since 1993 but my heart is in Melbourne Australia. I am a man of many interests and as a result, I know little bits of info about a lot of things. However, I am far from an expert on anything. I am both a cynic and dreamer. I am both calm and passionate. I am spiritual but not religious. I am always questioning authority and am suspicious of politicians and corporations. My main passion is music. Architecture & urban design run a close second. I am honest to a fault and enjoy helping others. I love food and wine to the detriment of my love fenders. I have love affairs with pints of ice cream. When the T.V is on it is tuned to Basketball, Daily Show, Keith Olbermann, Link TV and science and history programs. I like playing tennis. I love traveling the world. My kids are my joy and my pain and I want to do my part to give them a healthy and safe world to grow up in. I am short(ish). I have amazing friends and family and so to conclude this section, I must say. By all accounts I am a lucky, lucky bastard.

DJ'ing
I have been a working DJ since 1992 but did not start traveling the world until 2002. I have been purely blessed to have had these experiences. I have played at major venues and festivals and have some amazing experiences behind the decks. Most notable are shows at The Southport Weekender in the UK (twice), Field Day and Home nightclub in Sydney Australia, Ministry of Sound and Neighborhood in London, Cielo in NYC, Electric Circus in Adelaide Australia and anywhere in Melbourne Australia. Other cities I've been to include, AUSTRALIA (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Collangatta and yes, Wollongong) BRAZIL (Sao Palo, Rio De Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba) CANADA (Vancouver and Toronto) EUROPE (Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Skopje, Barcelona, Mallorca and the Canary Islands) UK (London, Southport and Glasgow) U.S (Seattle, Portland, L.A San Diego, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Orlando, Gainesville, Baltimore and N.Y.C) I have met many great people and have had the time of my life through this experience. If you are one of the "friends" I've met along the way, thanks so much.
Production
I also produce house music. Between 2001 and 2005 I had 80+ songs pressed and published on labels from around the world including notable names like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Hooj Choons, and Arista. In 2004 I was honored to be nominated for a Grammy Award for a Jill Scott remix I did. I have also remixed artists such as Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, Missy Elliot, Luther Vandros and Mariah Carey. I currently executive produce on my best friends friend SF legend David Harness (under the name Harlum). I also have experience mixing and recording for other House music talent.
The opportunities I have had and the people I have met in this biz has been a huge honor. Going from a young punk who found the rave in 1990 to having my music heard in all corners of the world is something I truly treasure and respect.
