Well, we had a massive 2008!



2008 Triple J Unearthed finalist

Airplay on Triple J & TRAXX & various internet stations

No 1 in June on Triple J with 'Slap You In Public'

Appeared on Channel Seven debuting 'NRRD Love Song'

Played with SnobScrilla

Played The Annandale Hotel, Oxford Arts Factory & many others

76 Pictures made a pro music video for 'Slap You In Public'

TRAXX Radio Artist Of The Month

Appeared in many paper & muso magazine articles

Wrote about 10 killer tracks!

TRAXX Radio listeners voted 'NRRD Love Song No 1' for 2008

AYC made a pro music clip for 'Powerlines'

Had a great time & met many music industry types & other bands

Nominated for Triple J Hottest 100 for 2008!



On a personal level Laura (vocals) completed her HSC in fine style! Johnno (drums) went off to Beijing to play in the 2008 Olympics official Australian band, Joji (lead guitar) left the band to concentrate on HSC in 2009 & G-Rae (bass) lived large & chilled simultaneously!



THE KTHANXBYES ARE



A 4-piece band from the innerwest of Sydney, all ranging in age from 15-18. We're completely different and unique, but for reasons unknown, come together and make music damn well ;)



We've been rawkin with Bonnie Kay's School of Rock for pretty much 2 years now and we love it.



We've been played on Triple J and various internet radio stations like Traxx Radio & Last FM and are currently recording an EP. We're hell excited to get

out into the biz and PLAY OUR MUSIC !



We've played venues such as

-Oxford Arts Factory (supporting Snob Scrilla)

-Surry Hills Gallery

-Various Clubs, RSLs & Comp Venues

-Concord Bowling Club

WANNA FORM YOUR OWN BAND?????



If you are interested in forming your own band and playing gigs etc we strongly recommend that you get in touch with Bonnie Kay from the School of Rock



www.rockschool.com.au at Zen Studios in St Peters, this is where we started and we



still attend every week. When you show up, you will be introduced to other people who want to form a band and given tuition in an actual recording studio.



The instructors are experienced musos with years of music, recording & gigging



experience. Cost is about $35 per session and we think it is well worth it! Other bands that have some through the School Of Rock are Blam!
