The Kays Lavelle were born in Dundee. They now spend most of their time in Leith, Edinburgh. Sometimes there are 6 of them, sometimes 5 or 4 but always 2. Their debut album was released in May 2010 on Wiseblood Industries. It was recorded and produced by Neil Pennycook (Meursault) and Alex Fenton (Fentek Audio).
