The J.Davis Trio

The j.davis trio is an all live hip-hop/jazz band from Chicago. Drums, bass, trumpet, congas and vibraphone make up the intstrumentation. With the help of alot of great people, the j.davis trio recorded 13 songs and released the debut CD in the fall of '99. Their second CD "The New No.2" was released in 2002. I, stuart, front the band and play the vibraphone (a big, fancy xylophone with organ pipes), congas and various other percussion instruments. In 2002, the j.davis trio released it's 2nd full length CD, "The New No. 2". Released in 2007 is our third CD "These Things Happen". Since we started, I spend most of my time reading, traveling, writing, handling the business end of music, and playing shows. I've met and worked with so many great musicians and bands both local and national, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
