The Jamburglars left the rodeo circuit and entered the local las cruces music scene in 2004. The original drummer was cut citing a lack of enthusiasm (specifically his refusal to be in our band) and quickly replaced by an eager--if not slightly homicidal--ball of pugnacity named Danny Silva. Daniel Newsome was found in Silva's watercloset and after many band meetings, kept on as guitarist/make-up artist. Following our first performance at Kim Jong Il's barbeque and freestyle talent show, (we finished second to The Capital Steps), the Jamburglars stumbled upon an emaciated waif with a large cranium who demonstrated great ability at the bass player. The former bass player, Jay Fiedler, understood that Scott Anderson was a more quality fit and amiably left the band. During the group's second performance (halftime show at the semi-finals of the junior high catholic school boys basketball tournament in alamogordo) the group came upon Tony Portillo who had just set the tournament record for most minutes spent crying at the three point line. The band quickly signed him to a multi-year contract. They can be seen now splitting their time between local las cruces venues and europe. (they're huge in europe)

Corrections: 'emaciated waif.demonstrated great ability at the bass player' should read 'ability as the bass player'. The editor also wishes to apologize for any grievance caused to Mr. Heidegger due to the misspelling of his name (see band members). Similarly (and in keeping with our usual apathy) Mr. Newsom should be immediately and judiciously compensated for the misspelling of his name (see above). We assure you these errors in no way indicate a misrepresentation of the validity of the above information.
