DESCRIPTION:
The Incurables cover of "Ballad of El Goodo"; originally recorded by Big Star in 1972; a personal favorite of mine so I set this song (from their demo CD titled "FM") to still photographs of the band members both on an off stage. I have the utmost respect for this band and these musicians in all of their work. And for this song in particular, my thanks go out to Jimmy Griffin and Bryan Hoskins for their tear-jerking, beautiful vocals on this song. I feel it surpasses both the original and the cover by Counting Crows. Thank you, my soulful friends.
