THE HEADLESS HEARSEMEN
Location:
Sleepy Hollow, US
Type:
Artist / Band / Musician
When the spooks have a midnight Jamboree
They break it up with fiendish glee
Ghosts are bad, but the one's that're cursed
are the Headless Hearsemen, They're the worst
(That's right, They're a fright, on Halloween night!)
But when they go a-Rockin' 'cross the land
Holdin' their noggins in Their hands
Demons take one look and groan
And hit the road for parts unknown
Beware, take care, They ride alone.
And there's no spook, like a spook who's spurned
They don't like it, and They're really burned
They swear to the longest day, they're dead
They'll show them that they can get a head
They say They're tired of Their moppy tops
They've got a yen to make a swap
So They ride one night each year
To find some heads in the hollow here
Now They like 'em little, They like them big
Parted in the middle, or a frightwig
Black or white or even red
The Headless Hearsemen need some heads
With a hip-hip and a clippity-clop
They're out lookin' for some tops to chop
So don't stop to figure out a plan
You can't reason with a Headless Band.
Now if you doubt this tale is so
I met those spooks just a year ago
No, I didn't stop for a second look
For once you cross that bridge, my friends
The ghosts are through, Their power ends
So when you're riding home tonight
Make for the bridge with all your might
They'll be down in the hollow there
They need your heads, look out, beware!
With a hip-hip and a clippity-clop
They're out looking for some heads to swap
So don't try to figure out a plan
You can't reason with a Headless Band.!
