"It's becoming increasingly difficult to discover new exciting hardcore bands. The scene's been so watered down with "mallcore" and "mainstreamo" that a band like Grizzlytwister is a total anomaly. GT understands that punk is supposed to be thrilling and maybe even a little dangerous. I don't care what your hair looks like, I want music that feels vital, that pushes boundries. GT delivers." - Its a Trap 2006.

Grizzlytwister is a 5-piece hardcore-combo from the southern parts of northern sweden. The idea behind the band was born sometime in 2002. Playing high-energetic chaotic punk/hc, - meant as a kick in the crotch for the uptight non-caring crowd of today's society. We all need some drama now and then, the common man as well as the hardcore scene. It sometime seems that 'punk' nowdays are more about fitting in than not to fit in. By using two synthesizers and samplers to create suggestive soundscapes thrashing guitar lines, chaotic drumming and madshouting vocals, Grizzlytwister pushes the boundaries and take no notice of any already outlaid guidelines; in fact unconsciously smashing it all up with vast fist of true renewal. It's really simple; less dress codes, less posing! More thought and more action!

The new album "ont blod" has just been released. But punk-records sucks, it's an art form that should be experienced live. After number of tours around Europe this is what Grizzlytwister does best; tearing up your local scene and making you move your sorry feet in a way you havent done in in a long time, or ever. See you on tour, in Europe between September and October 2007….

" … Sweden's The Grizzly Twister has been described, brilliantly, as "twisted, blip-blip hardcore". What this means in reality is a band with two synths and no bass, playing frenetic, dance floor-friendly hardcore, with political lyrics no barrier to getting the party started: in other words, they're kinda like a sexed- up Refused. Burly yet cherub faced singer Jonas makes for a great front man, with the rest of the band unable to stay still, all consumed in the wonderful chaos they're whipping up. An unmissable, unstoppable force."

- Olly Thomas of KKKK Kerrang! - review of the Brighton show 15/6 2006."
