Biography



The whole story began in the end of 2006 when a band called The Fiancée was formed. Being The Fiancée, we released a 2-track demo and in a really short time we shared the stage with bands like LAST HOPE (BLG), THE SECRET (IT), ARCHITECTS (UK) as well as a lot of accomplished greek bands. After a lot of band practices, shows, sweat, stage acrobatics, member departures and arrivals we felt stronger than ever and we decided to make a new start. In the early 2008, The Great Refusal was founded. Being a completely new band, we tested new tunes, and giving a more experimental touch to our heavy blend of music, having played our first show supporting CALIBAN (GER) we were about to release our first ever release as TGR, called “Bound To A Faceless Sun” but due to some personal reasons the band call it quits. So this page will be here just to inform you for new projects that the band members are going to do. Thank you.
