A Tribute To Blaxploitation Movies



The artists



Lootin : Video-Jockey on the Cinemix with Dj Oof and in the What The Funk parties & concerts (Breakestra, Dee Nasty,etc)



Mr Ju : Flutist, he plays in bands of funk , electro-jazz and nu-soul. His hobby for Fender Rhodes and vintage instruments is not a secret.



Adri3n : DJ, crate-digger and fan of jazz-funk. He plays the guitar in some funk bands and with Miss Chrysalide.



The project



On screen ?

A Tribute to Blaxploitation movies.

The best scenes of the genre, sequenced in chapters.

The VJ plays live : visual effects, sampling, inserts of pictures and improvisation on the music.



On stage ?

A soundtrack mixed by the DJ, including soul, funk and jazz. Ambiances from suspense to purchase, with speeches and sound effects.

The flutist improvises, following the movie and the soundtrack. He can re-create the "alive" side of these movies.



The Aim ?

To produce a real cinematic Tribute To Afro-American Culture of the Seventies, with both visuals and sounds.

To create a new interaction between the 3 artists of the project, stimulating each one's inspiration.
